Behind the Scenes Session!
Ever wonder what really goes into a senior photo session? Whether you’re in Minnetonka, Hopkins, Wayzata, or a nearby suburb, I’m here to make the entire experience easy, fun, and completely tailored to you. Let’s take a peek behind the lens at what a session with me actually looks like—and how we capture beautiful, genuine images!
Before the Session: We Plan the Vibe Together
We’ll start with a pre-session consult where I get to know your personality, style, and what kind of locations or settings feel right to you. Whether you’re dreaming of nature-filled backdrops, garden blooms, or a simple, clean look—I'll recommend locations I know and love around the western suburbs. Outfit changes? Prop ideas? Unsure what to wear? I’ll help you prep every detail so you feel confident and ready.
During the Session: A Laid-Back, Fun Experience!
This is where the magic happens. My sessions are relaxed and fun—I’ll guide you through natural posing and prompts that feels like you, not overly stiff or staged.
I’ll also get a mix of shots: classic portraits, candid moments, detail close-ups, and some playful in-between shots. You won’t believe how many favorites you’ll end up with! This session with Maddie- a Wayzata Junior was shot at the Normandale Japanese Gardens in Bloomington. The location was perfect, as it provide tons of variety- flowering trees, water, bridges, and even a little urban with the school buildings!
After the Session: Your Gallery Delivered
Within a couple of weeks, you’ll receive a beautifully edited online gallery where you can download your photos in high res for print, or web size for sharing on social media and with friends!
